Recycled Poster Art - Brought to you by Ideal Bite
Prints
The Bite:
How can you stop doves from crying? Decorate with poster art that won't cut down the trees they live in, made from recycled or repurposed materials, such as magazines from 1999.
- Paper formerly known as...paper. With 95% of U.S. native forests already gone, recycled paper's the way to go.
- Nothing compares 2 small landfills. Repurposing ads = less waste.
- Skipping the raspberry beret. Stumped on what to get Mom for Mom's Day? Bingo. (And check Mama Bite next week for more great gift ideas.)
Jen From Renewable Choice Says: I've always had a penchant for making art out of otherwise unusable materials. Starting when I was very young, I made clothes for my dolls out of leftover material or old clothes that were unwearable. Then I moved on to plastering the door and walls of my room with a giant collage made from all sorts of magazine cut-outs, random stickers and whatnot that I found laying around that would otherwise have been trashed. My latest venture is making mosaics out of dishes my mom sent me that broke in transit. Lesson of the day: you can make something beautiful out of even trash! ~Jen
