Tequila Mockingbird
The Bite:
Where's the Cinco de Mayo party at(ticus)? Just (F)inches away from the made-from-scratch organic margaritas. They'll liven up your fiesta in a way that's healthier for you and the planet. Classic.
Recipe:
Biter Margarita
Serves 1
Ingredients:
(local and organic whenever possible)
• 2 oz Casa Noble certified organic tequila
• 1.5 oz Madhava Light Agave Nectar (liquid sweetness tapped from the agave cactus)
• 1 oz organic lime juice (get limes from your local farmers market)
• Splash of club soda (make your own and avoid the plastic bottles)
• Organic sugar or salt
Directions:
Rub the rim of your recycled margarita glass with lime juice, and dip it in sugar or salt. Put the rest of the ingredients in a mixer and shake 'em up, then pour straight into glasses or over ice.
Jen From Renewable Choice Says: 'Tequila drinkin', oh our minds will wander to wondrous places...' Let's get this party started! Remember, 2 marg. limit! Happy May and Happy Friday!! ~Jen
