RBC Life Sciences announced its commitment to renewable energy and energy-saving initiatives.
RBC Life Sciences, a Texas-based company that makes nutritional supplements to improve health, has just added a renewable energy commitment to its environmental initiatives. Supporting the generation of renewable energy is its newest program. It's part of its larger goal of promoting clean energy and helping the U.S. become less dependent on fossil fuels.
Along with offsetting 100% of its electricity use which has a similar impact to planting 7,000 mature trees, RBC Life Sciences is also committed to:
- Using recycled materials in its product shipments
- Investing in special lighting and printing technologies to reduce energy consumption
- Choosing new ink printers that will greatly reduce printer cartridge use
RBC Life Sciences is on a mission to bring better health through better nutrition. It was started 30 years ago by Mr. Clinton Howard when he came out of retirement to found this company. His mother was sick and he believed that there were ways to age more successfully. With this motivation, he created well-researched, high quality products to help people live longer. PERSONALLY SPEAKING
There are lots of supplements out on the market these days. Remember to do your research. The Mayo Clinic, for example provides some great data and information. ~ Megan
