The Federal Government’s Mandates for Efficiency

In November, 2009, President Obama signed Executive Order (EO) 13514 which mandates environmental reduction targets for all Federal agencies. EO 13514 places special emphasis on reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and also addresses energy, water, and waste reductions by agencies and their supply chain.
