If you are looking to understand and take responsibility for your greenhouse gas emissions, establishing an emissions baseline and tracking changes with detailed carbon accounting over time is an essential first step.

Other emission sources

All GHG inventories include emissions from purchased electricity and steam as well as those arising from company controlled or owned assets such as a corporate fleet or manufacturing processes. In addition, organizations have the option to include other emissions or emission reductions such as those arising from recycling, paper consumption, employee travel, employee commuting, and shipping. At a minimum, we advise organizations to include employee travel and employee commuting.
