Quayle Hodek, CEO
Since founding the company in 2001, CEO Quayle Hodek has built Renewable Choice into one of the most respected renewable energy, efficiency and sustainability companies in the U.S. Quayle advises the company's largest client relationships and manages partnerships with renewable project developers, leading NGOs and cleantech investors. Quayle and Renewable Choice's business model have been recognized for their innovation in renewable energy project finance, which connects developers and investors directly with clean energy consumers. Leading organizations of all sizes, including 50 of the Fortune 500, utilize Quayle's expertise in developing clean energy, efficiency and carbon reduction projects and implementing sustainability programs. He is a frequent speaker at industry events and educational institutions on the role of clean technology, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development in solving the world's most pressing energy and environmental challenges. He has been featured with clients in major publications including the New York Times and Wall Street Journal, and given the “Green Power Beacon” award for market development from the U.S. Department of Energy. On many of Boulder's sunny days, Quayle daydreams about creating LEED standards for a new type of office building, one with an easily retractable roof.
Kris Lotlikar, Vice President of Strategic Advancement
As a co-founder of the company, Kris has been working in the renewable energy and climate management markets for a decade. Kris comes from a community organizing background having started the second-longest running national student organization in the country. As VP of Strategy, Kris assumes responsibility for translating market trends and needs to our growing services. He has taken our deep expertise in renewable energy and carbon markets and fostered significant company growth in overall climate management and communication solutions. His expertise and experience in wind power marketing give the company some of the deepest knowledge in the market. Kris also sits on the Board of Directors for the League of Young Voters. When he is not finding cutting-edge sustainability solutions for companies, Kris enjoys tennis.
Mark Buckley, CFO
Mark brings 14 years of experience managing complex financial and operational duties. At Renewable Choice, Mark is responsible for all financial aspects of the business as well as its human resource and resource acquisition functions. Mark began his career at Deloitte & Touche, auditing companies in several industries. He then went on to work as a turnaround consultant and subsequently served as CFO for two early stage companies. Mark graduated from Colgate University with a BA in mathematical economics and philosophy.
Aran Rice, Vice President of Sales Operations
Aran brings over 15 years of corporate sales and operations experience to his role on the executive leadership team at Renewable Choice. His background includes expertise in renewable energy, carbon management and measurement, and sustainability and operational consulting. Aran manages and provides leadership to the company's sales team, and has engaged with numerous industry leading clients such as Dell, Whole Foods and Vail Resorts in developing multifaceted, innovative and strategic sustainability initiatives. Aran holds a BA from the University of California at Los Angeles.
Tom Holcomb, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development
Tom has more than 20 years of experience in carbon management, renewable energy, sustainability strategy, land use management, environmental services, and management consulting. As part of the Renewable Choice executive leadership team, he is accountable for sustainability services, business development and strategy. Tom has worked extensively with a wide range of leading organizations on their sustainability and environmental initiatives including Best Buy, Steelcase, Walmart, DuPont, Alcoa and the U.S. Departments of Energy, Defense and Interior. He holds a BS from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from the University of Colorado. Tom enjoys burpees.
Holly Hallowell, Creative Director
Holly manages and develops creative strategies and translates environmental marketing objectives into effective designs and communications for Renewable Choice and its clients. Since 2006, Holly has helped evolve and manage the Renewable Choice brand while supporting marketing outreach for clients such as Whole Foods Market, Best Buy, Vail Resorts, Burt's Bees, and Performance Bicycle. Prior to joining the company, Holly studied marketing at Johnson & Wales University and managed marketing communications for a top Denver Franchisor. Her obsession with the number 22 has both baffled and amazed those around her, but has been accepted by most team members at Renewable Choice.
Megan Brown, Director of Product Marketing
Megan Brown is responsible for educating clients and providing best practices for messaging their sustainability commitments. Megan has helped clients such as TD Bank, Steelcase and Powdr Resorts win leadership awards given by the EPA and the DOE. With over 10 years experience guiding marketing programs, Megan's expertise includes identifying strategic market development programs, building marketing communications campaigns focused on sustainability education and creative development for Fortune 500 clients. Megan holds a BA from Bucknell University.
Amy Haddon, Director of Business Operations
Amy supports the development and delivery of sustainability solutions by advising customers on environmentally preferable and socially accountable purchasing standards, developing employee sustainability engagement and training programs, and by performing project research and analysis. Amy is also responsible for leading talent acquisition, performance management, and professional development. She also facilitates and promotes conscious culture at Renewable Choice in order to further advance our client's success. Amy holds a M.Ed. in Organizational Performance from Colorado State University. Amy's diverse personal accomplishments include earning a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, receiving attunement as a Reiki Master, and learning to play the African djembe.
Ryan Meeks, Sustainability Analyst
Ryan graduated from the University of Vermont with a BS in Forestry. At Renewable Choice, Ryan conducts GHG inventories and consults with clients on CDP disclosure. Ryan has consulted more than 50 companies in the CDP reporting process to identify company-specific risks and opportunities in regards to climate change. Ryan has been on the ground floor working with CDP staff to shape CDP's 2011 questionnaire.
Heather Porter, Director of Sustainability Services
Heather is responsible for the development and execution of sustainability programs for clients at Renewable Choice. Heather brings eight years of strategic sustainability consultation, program development and project management experience with Fortune 500, and public and private sector clientele to the Renewable Choice team. Heather is a LEED AP, a member of the Project Management Institute, and holds a Master of Environmental Law and a Bachelor of Environmental Science, with Honors, from the University of Sydney, Australia.
Matt Wood, Director of Sustainability Services
Matt launched the sustainability consulting practice at Renewable Choice in 2008 and has helped over 50 major brands with sustainability services including carbon accounting, CDP reporting, emissions reductions and sustainability strategy development. Matt works closely with Walmart and their vendors on supporting sustainability initiatives. Prior to joining Renewable Choice, he worked to drive sustainability programs at Whole Foods as part of the company's Green Mission team. In 2009, Matt was accepted into the CSA Standards program for carbon accounting certification and is one of only 17 certified Greenhouse Gas Inventory Quantifiers in the U.S.
