OCTAL’s recent success at Interpack 2011, the leading packaging and process trade fair held in Dusseldorf, Germany has positioned the company and the Salalah Free Zone in the global arena. The uniqueness of its DPET™ sheet and PET resin coupled with its sustainability campaign, generated enthusiasm from various spheres of the industry including several large multinational brands. OCTAL’s carbon footprint study, done by third party experts Renewable Choice Energy and Intertek Expert Services, yielded results that confirm OCTAL’s DPET sheet boasts the smallest carbon footprint of any comparable PET sheet available today as well as those with 50 per cent recycled waste content.
