In our FREE Webinar and PDF Guide on the LEED Green Power Credit, we'll show you the why's, what's and how's of green power for your green building project so you can better understand how the Green Power Credit works and how it fits into the USGBC's LEED system.
With having supported more than 1,000 LEED projects in the United States and internationally, Renewable Choice is the nation’s largest provider of renewable energy for the USGBC Green Power Credit. In fact, our LEED clients have created demand for over 1.5 billion kilowatt hours of renewable energy credits (RECs) which has helped to save up to 1,678,289,021 pounds of CO2. That’s similar to not driving 1.7 billion miles in the average U.S. passenger car.
Renewable Choice is a recognized leader in the green power industry and has three LEED APs on staff to assist you with any questions about LEED certification and green power specifically.
Under LEED v3 (aka LEED 2009), the Green Power Credit (EAc6) has been given additional credit weighting. It directly addresses one of the key goals of the system – to reduce the carbon emissions produced as a result of the construction and operation of buildings in the U.S. Depending upon the Rating System that your project is pursuing, it can achieve between 2 and 6 points by purchasing green power and carbon offsets that help mitigate the impact of the energy used by the building.
Our FREE Green Building PDF Guide and webinar will cover this and more to help you optimize your success in obtaining credits for LEED certification.
