Renewable Choice Energy Announces Divestiture of Mosaic Sustainability

Award-winning firm forges new partnership with Anthesis Group

BOULDER, CO (2/4/16)—Renewable Choice Energy announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Mosaic Sustainability, has been acquired by the Anthesis Group, an award-winning global sustainability consultancy that provides financially-driven sustainability strategy services.

Mosaic Sustainability was the result of organic growth within Renewable Choice, driven initially by consumer demand for greater accountability and transparency in carbon reporting and disclosure.  Over the course of the past seven years, Mosaic has grown to become a leading sustainability boutique, providing sustainability strategy, reporting, disclosure, and supply chain services to some of the world’s largest brands, including Kroger, Prologis, and Monterey Bay Aquarium.

“We’re pleased to find such a strong partner for Mosaic Sustainability in the Anthesis Group,” said Quayle Hodek, CEO of Renewable Choice.  “By joining Anthesis, Mosaic’s cutting-edge sustainability work will be able to expand.  We also look forward to leveraging our newly formed partnership with the Anthesis Group to continue to deliver value to our Renewable Choice clients.”

Mosaic Sustainability will do business as Anthesis Mosaic, as the company grows and continues to rebrand all acquired entities under a single name.

“We are delighted to have completed the acquisition of Mosaic Sustainability,” said Chris Jones, President of Anthesis Group USA. “As a result of the deal, our clients will benefit from the addition of a team of highly talented and aligned sustainability professionals, plus a strengthened relationship with an important strategic partner in Renewable Choice Energy.”
